the Goon Squad ~ Coming to a Town Near You

Did you Guys Here this, apparently December was Kalispell Montana's month for this years new Police force that is being called the "Goon Squad". It is said that there are a group of 10 Highway Patrolman that travel from City to City in Montana, spending a month at a time. So they can crack down on traffic tickets. I sure wish there was a Goon Squad cleaning up the streets from Meth Addicts, Dealers, Rapists, and other Crimes that are seeminly going unpunished.. but speeding well watch out .. the Goon Squad will get you.

I heard of 5 cars pulled over in 20 minutes, in the home depot area of Kalispell Montana and given tickets for speeding in a Construction zone when they were well past the Construction Zone.

Seems Like a Scare Tactic, or is it Revenue Montana Needs, I had heard that Montana had plenty of revenue do to Capital Gains tax and other In Money over the last few years.. so Why harass the Citizens of the State, I guess they want you all to Move.

This is a New State of Montana Funded Program that is Hurting innocent people, seems like speeding or not your going to get it randomly.. odd place to focus on Montana Crime in My Opinion...

Mark Riffey ~ on Small Business

Well Folks my Post about Mark Riffey and NMAR seems to have Riled Mr. Mark Riffey up. He Does not Want his Quotes out of Context, understandable.. so let's clarify My Opinion.

Mark Riffey's quotes are in Blue and my Opinion of those quotes are in Black.

Though I had earlier posted a compliment on Mark Riffey, this post will be a bit different, however, I do agree, obviously, and stand by my previous post that Mark Riffey does have a clue about Internet Marketing, a very good one.


So Here Goes

Northwest Montana Association of Realtors (NMAR) hiring a Governmental Affairs Director set off a colorful discussion about the evils of Realtors in the story's online comments area."

First of All Myers Reece’s Story was published on 12-10-08, according to the Fleathead Beacon Website. That Would Be Two Weeks Ago. I know this is no big deal but Mark Riffey Wants us to get this right.

"Unfortunately, that colorful discussion missed the most important point brought up by Myers' story: that small business owners must be vigilant about what's going on in their industry."

First of all, this is NOT about Small Business owners.
NMAR backed by NAR and having members such as ERA - Coldwell Banker - Sotheby’s and Century 21 who are owned by Realogy - Cendant - Apollo Management … they are No Where Near Small Business, they are all Billionaires. Yes each office is independently owned, supposedly, however, they are backed by a Billion Dollar business, backed by lobbyists in Washington D.C who fight for what is best for the Realtors and not what is best for the Real Estate Consumer.

Realtors actively Lobby against the Real Estate Consumer. Realtors have E and O insurance with the Sole Purpose to fight the Real Estate Consumer - even when the Consumer has a ligitimate Life Altering Claim against the Realtor.

Realtor are Not Held accountable when they Do Not play by the rules (follow the ethics). Yet Realtors say they are better then Non-Realtors for the very reason of their Strict Code of Ethics, this is Bull.

What Mark Riffey says about Small Business, I pretty much agree with. But the Realtors are NOT small business by any means. And though the Realtors - NMAR, wants to hold on to their jobs, this does NOT give them the right to bully local boards to influence development decisions for the best interest of the Realtors ? Of course all of you get to have your own opinion, obviously.

So in my opinion, the article that Mark Riffey is Commenting on and Mark Riffey suggesting that the point we missed was anything to do with small business is Flat Out Wrong.

"Last week, I wrote about the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), which – unless changed – will put an entire industry of mom-and-pop toy and clothing makers out of business as of February 10, 2009.

The House version of this bill was first signed by Rep. Rehberg back in December 2007, shortly after it was rushed to the floor in response to last Christmas' spate of toy recalls.

It's difficult to say when the handmade child products industry realized they were in trouble. The Handmade Toy Alliance appears to have been formed in October or November 2008 – after the bill became law (their website was registered Nov 23, 2008), but that's just one of the affected industries. Digging around on Google, there's barely any activity on this issue before November.Overall, it appears that most handmade children's product businesses were not watching Washington.

Normally this sort of thing is done by an industry's national, regional or state trade association, assuming they are being vigilant (noting that vigilant is not the same as blindly partisan). However, many cottage industries haven't organized themselves (or have but not well enough), leaving this work to individual business owners. No matter what your politics, you cannot afford to assume that Washington and Helena are on your industry's side.

You cannot assume that they are aware, much less able to fully consider and understand how the things they write into bills can impact (or destroy) your business. I suspect you have enough trouble keeping up with all the news and developments in your industry.

Try doing it in hundreds of industries. That's the difficult task they're up against. Here's an example that hits close to home: In April 2007, a Montana House representative from Bozeman proposed to create a Do-not-mail list (HB718).

Let's debate that for a moment from a small business perspective. Imagine that you start a new business tomorrow. One of the best ways to get leads for your new business is with a laser-targeted offer to the perfectly selected list of prospects.Except …. you can no longer mail to people you don't know. You can't call them. You can't fax them. I guess you just have to go door to door, or spend big bucks to advertise to everyone instead of just mailing those who are most likely to be interested. Laws like Do-not-mail make big business the clear winner.

They already have market share, a customer list and cash flow to eliminate industry newcomers who have no relationship, no mailing list (and laws preventing use of a purchased list), no way to call or fax, etc. "

Ok, here we are back to the Realtors and NMAR, finally, here is what Mark Riffey really said in the context he actually said it..

"Watching over policy making bodies for potential impacts they're making on your business is smart business, whether you do it yourself or join a trade organization that does it for you. "

NMAR - the National Association of Realtors is not watching over policy makers to benefit the real estate consumer. If they were they would not fight to keep banks out of real estate, they would not want mandatory E and O insurance to protect the Realtors, they would not turn a blind eye to blatant non-disclosure that take years and hundreds of thousands of dollars away from consumers.



If NMAR - NAR - MAR were really watching over policy makers for the good of all then they would not have fought so hard for so long to STOP buyers Rebates, they would not threaten boycotts to local magazines if they allow FSBO’s to advertise, they would not Stop members from allowing Sellers to market their own real estate in an exclusive listing, they would have a system in place to monitor the MLS data for quality - for accuracy.

NMAR is NOT watching out for the Public at Large, and is in no way protecting small business - big developers yes - real estate franchise yes - and the jobs of Realtors yes but NMAR is not bullying local policy makers to watch for potential impacts, they are bullying to get more money flowing to the Realtors and to the Developers.

"The actions of the NMAR were prudent ( and no, they aren't my client ). You'd be wise to find some way to follow their lead before a piece of incomplete legislation destroys or radically alters your business. Start with one of the trade associations that watch your industry. Research them carefully, as there are effective ones and there are those that excel only at cashing checks."

Yes Folks, you would be wise to follow the prudent actions of NMAR. You to could ruin the life of the Real Estate Consumer, you too could bully the Realtors who try and give buyers rebates and discount commission rates.
If you were Prudent and Wise such as NMAR - you too could be Millionaires and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year lobbying in Washington to Keep your “Small Business” in Business.

Legislation, Boycotts, the Truth, Lawsuits… whatever it takes to radically alter the way the Realtors do Business is the Most Important Point. Realtors do not protect the real estate consumer.
Realtors want the Cash to Flow and their Huffing and Puffing is Certainly not Prudent and Wise in ANY way. Do Your Home Work Folks, Know the Truth about what Goes on Behind the Closed Doors of your Real Estate Transaction.

"The recent controversy over the Whitefish doughnut serves as an example that you must pay attention. When governments get cranky with citizens over a request for public documents, they should expect the scrutiny to heighten – not evaporate. As long as industry watchdogs remain ethical and legal; officials have to expect that their actions will be monitored. Thomas Jefferson would be one of the first to suggest the need to be vigilant and I sure won't argue with him.It is not the job of government to create new ways to crush or suppress small business, but it is your job to be vigilant about theirs."

My issue is not about the Citizens watching their Government, that Is what should happen, who it affects should be involved. The Realtors NEED to Butt Out, unless they live in the affected area. And not simply push everybody around so they can make more money.
It is Not Fair that Large Groups Such as Realtor, with Large amounts of Money and Big Shot attorneys force their will on local government and oftentimes against the people's wishes.
The People who Live in, pay taxes in, vote in officials - those involved should be involved.. but those NOT involved directly such as NMAR or any local Realtors Association Anywhere SHOULD not Be involved.

With NMAR the Big Boys win, and those without money or “political clout” they lose. I have seen lots in Whitefish Sell for a few hundred thousand or less, the Realtors get behind their buyer, and Force the City to extend the Commercial Zoning and the Lot Sells for 2 Million More then the Seller bought it for. The previous Seller did not have the Big Guns, the Realtors fighting local government for them so, they lose.
Just One Example, Just know Folks there is more then meets the eyes, look deeper and make sure that you are making your own decisions based on facts. If those who live in the "Doughnut" agree with NMAR then so be it.. Still NMAR should get out of Local Politics, they were not voted in by the people to act on their behalf..

Money is NOT the Power that Should have the Say.

Icahn Wins Round in Realogy Battle

Carl C. Icahn, the billionaire investor, scored a court victory Thursday over his longtime friend and fellow billionaire, Leon D. Black. Mr. Icahn’s investment firm, High River LP, sued a real estate company controlled by Mr. Black’s private equity firm, Apollo Management, on Nov. 26. Mr. Icahn is seeking to prevent the company, Realogy, from refinancing $1.1 billion of debt, asserting the move would hurt certain Realogy bondholders and delay the inevitable failure of the company.

A Delaware judge on Thursday ruled that Realogy’s planned $1.1 billion debt exchange violates contracts in the lending agreements with Mr. Icahn and other bondholders.“If Realogy wishes to engage in the proposed transaction, it would need to obtain agreement from the required number of its bank lenders to amend or waive certain provisions of the credit agreement,”Vice Chancellor Stephen Lamb of Delaware Chancery Court wrote in his decision.

Mr. Icahn and the trustee that holds the Realogy bonds, Bank of New York Mellon, had sought a court order to block the exchange, but Judge Lamb stopped short of halting the exchange offer.Apollo bought Realogy, owner of Century 21 and Coldwell Banker, for $6.6 billion in April 2007, just as the housing market was starting to implode.

Now, with home values sinking, Realogy is asking its bondholders, including Mr. Icahn, to exchange $1.15 billion in oldbonds for about $500 million in new loans to reduce its debt and ride out the slump.Mr. Icahn and other holders of Realogy’s senior secured debt, which would be paid off first in the event of a bankruptcy, claim Realogy’s credit agreement does not allow it to issue the new debt.

Mr. Icahn said in an interview on CNBC that the lawsuit against Mr. Black didn’t harm their friendship.“Leon actually invited me to a party at his house” after he filed the lawsuit, “but I couldn’t go,” Mr. Icahn said.

KALISPELL - Wildlife managers wiped out an entire wolf pack this week because the predators were eating cows.The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks “takes livestock depredation by wolves seriously,” said wildlife manager Jim Williams. “In this case, there was a chronic problem of cattle depredation.”Wolves are protected under the Endangered Species Act, but officials can kill them in cases of continued depredation.

Wildlife managers first became involved with the Hog Heaven Pack back in the fall of 2007, killing a young male wolf after two domestic calves were found dead southwest of Kalispell.Then came more predation, and more wolves killed.One year after the first intervention, officials shot two more wolves on the heels of continued cattle kills, bringing to eight the total number of wolves culled from the pack.

“We took a number of interim steps where we removed some wolves prior to making the decision to remove the entire pack, but it didn’t end the problem,” Williams said.Wildlife managers also considered non-lethal methods early on, he said, but could not land on an effective strategy. Relocation, he said, was not an option.Over the past few months, the pack killed eight more cows, the most recent being a 2-year-old bull on Nov. 18.And so on Dec. 3, state and federal wildlife managers shot two more wolves. Then eight more on Dec. 4, and nine more on Dec. 5 - a combined 19 wolves shot in three days. In all, officials killed 27 members of the Hog Heaven Pack, eliminating it entirely.

Fish Wildlife and Parks.. There Job is to Kill, Kill KILL. They Kill off Fish in Rivers and lakes by poisening our Montana Waters in the name of wanting Native Fish. Cows are NOT native... wolves are.. so Kill the Wolves.. we must protect the Cattle Rancher at all costs, WHY? Is it the "neighborly thing to do". I am a 4th generation Montanan and I have run into cattle rancher who ruin peoples lives, bully neighbors, over graze, take down fences to graze on private land and there is No Help. They leave their cows to disgrace our waterways with feces,

No One will listen to issues with Cattle Ranchers until a Cow gets killed and then someone goes to Jail. No one is interested in protecting those who live next to some cattle ranches that are bullied by the Ranch Owners, have their water rights cut off, and constantly harrassed with ranchers letting fences down.

The "Brand Inspector" can throw you in prison if you kill a cow. But has no regard for the damage cattle and some of those cattle ranchers who ruin the Quality of Life of their neighbors. Cows Damage Private Property, even when it is NOT open range, cows by the dozens defecate in the creekbeds.. NOTHING is done.. but a Native Animal Kills a Cow for Food.. and Slaughter is the Solutions.. There is SOMETHING very Wrong with this Picture...

Fish Wildlife and Parks is NOT about Solutions, they are Clueless.. but they know how to Kill.. they sure got that one down.

Fish Wildlife and Parks, in the Name of Saving Bull Trout ruins peoples lives.. yet can Slaughter wolves to make cattle ranchers richer. Why not buy the Land, secure its borders and raise your cattle, think smart, figure OUT a way to keep the wolves at bay besides Murder. Cows are NOT more important to our ecosystem then wolves - plain and simple. My life has not been made better by Cows, though yes I do occasionally eat Beef which I get from an Organic Ranch in Idaho that does not seem to need FWP to fend off their predators. With the Technology of 2009 - Fish Wildlife and Parks can only think of one solution and that is Slaughter. ... this is Just Plain Ol' Wrong No Matter How you look at it.

Soon there will Nothing Wild about Montana. This is the Wilderness, the Wood, these are Wolves.. it is the Natural Order... Cattle Rancher.. though some are VERY responsibe - curtious and do a great job.. those who do a Bad Job at Cattle Ranching are the One who make this Horrific for the Rest of Us. Cattle Ranchers need to be MORE responsible in a 2009 world or QUIT the cattle business... the Solution is not to keep killing predators. If we start this there is No End in Sight to the Slaughter... There Has to Be a Better Way.... FWP.. above the Law of the Land.. above the Endangered Species Act.. and above the Law of Nature.

Some Folks Say to Get the Wolves Now before they get us or get our kids.. what? If Montana is to Dangerous for you and you cannot obey the laws of the land then LEAVE. If we Kill all Wolves, Bear and yes even deer attack people on occasion, grouse - I have been attacked by grouse.. Moose.. If we Kill all animals that COULD get us.. then we KILL all animals.. in fact cows have been known to injure people, dogs hurt - injure and even kill people, horses injure and kill people and PEOPLE kill and injure People.

Cars can kill people, SHOULD we banish all Cars. Cigs Kill People, still they are here and legal.. I mean Really is Killing all the Wolves the answer or is People Getting more innovative, smarter, learning more and living by the laws of nature, possibly a better long term solution?

What About Certain Sounds or Foods to Drive them away from your home.. can't their be a better way.. Humans can and do kill humans.. if we kill all predators NOTHING will be left..

the Local Association of Realtors is Attempting to Control Your Local Planning Board... Who will STOP the Real Estate Cartel ?


Realtors Should NOT have “Political Clout” of ANY kind.

Just Because the Association of Realtor has more money then the general public SHOULD not give them the right to Use their Money - Leverage - and Political Clout there in to their FORCE what ever laws or regulation best suits the needs of the Realtors.

NAR claims that Realtors are of a Higher Standard and that the Realtors are working, seemingly relentless at that in which is the best interest of the Real Estate Consumer. However, in the Real World of Real Estate this is Hardly the Case. Realtors Work for Realtors and well, the Real Estate Consumer gets to Shut up and sign on the dotted line.

NMAR, the local Realtors Association is Self Governed, they run over consumer rights in order to get what they want. They throw around their “political weight” because they can and no government or private agency is strong enough to STOP them. What the Realtors Want the Realtors Get.

You can bet that what the REALTORS want the Flathead County Planning Board to do is Good for the Realtors and is NOT good for the Real Estate Consumers. Nobody seems to be able to stop the Realtors from Relentlessly making noise on whatever local development issue their is of the day - week - year... they push and push .. they Sue.. they Stomp and they Eventually get their way.

“Special Government Affairs Committees” the Realtors on this committee hurt the real estate consumer just as many other Realtor. NMAR does not listen to complaints of Realtors that hurt the real estate consumer, they just plug their ears and leave it up to the attorneys to battle at. Ethics is Certainly NOT top on their agenda.

They Use to tell us that all of us being in the Same room violated Anti-Trust laws.. but hey what the Department of Justice don't know...

I once called a local Managing Broker with a Serious issue about an agent they were supervising, I stated the Ethics, the MLS Policies and the laws that were broken and the managing Broker said that she could not hear my complaint because she was on the Grievance Committee at NMAR.. talk about your conflicts of interest. Funny to Me that NMAR is causing such a stir to Get their Way, and that the Forces that Be cannot seem to Stop them. The Consumer Pays their wages yet their daily agenda seems to be to actively pursue that in which hurts the real estate consumer.

If NMAR now has a PAID employee going to planning and local government meetings then this is certainly one more thing to be alarmed about. The Realtors are gearing up for a Fight, and their real fight is to keep their jobs. If the Realtors and the Developers band together - the Realtors get to sell what the Developers build and the Consumers well they just get to Pay the Bill.

They take a portion of the Real Estate Consumer’s money and they use this money to Lobby agains the consumer and to Hire Designated Snitches and to make a whole lot of NOISE to STOMP on Your Consumers Rights.

What happens at the “government meetings” - at Local Planning Meetings is supposed to be state and local officials deciding what is best for their community, which is what they were “Elected” to do. Yet the REALTORS, with all their might and Billions of Dollars behind them get their way over what is best for you. And though you pay for your Politicians to act on your behalf, the Realtors come in and knock everybody over and take over the show. Which if you ever by and sell real estate is something your paying for as well.

Typically local commissioners – planners and those who hold government office do not have access to a lot of money or to High Powered Attorneys. Typically the Realtors Do have access to a Whole lot of Money and an Endless Array of Big Shot attorneys.

NMAR spends a HUGE amount of money going to Washington DC, as do many other small REALTOR associations to fight for their rights, while the Real Estate Consumer has NO Rights at all. This is a Fact, Realtor Forms - supposed standard REALTOR forms are geared toward protecting the Realtor and they are NOT intended to Protect the Real Estate Consumer.

Realtors are NOT trained in what you think they know and Realtors Do NOT know what you, the real estate consumer NEEDS them to know.

The E and O insurance that the Realtors have Protects the Realtors from the Real Estate Consumer. This is SHOCKING but True, and to make matters worse, in some states it is mandatory that Realtors have E and O insurance. So another words it is Mandatory that those Realtors in those states protect themselve from the frivolous claims - needs and lawsuits of the Real Estate Consumer.

The Realtors FIGHT with all their might to Keep Banks out of Real Estate. The Realtors Bully the For Sale by Owner marketing Companies and even threaten the Local Real Estate Connection magazine with a boycott if they let the FSBO advertise in their magazine.

The Realtors Boycott those who Give the Real Estate Consumer a Discount, they make consumers think that if the Broker is giving you a discount then they are not offering a full service.. Flat Out Lie.

Buyers Rebates have been legal since April, is your Realtor giving you a Buyers Rebate.. no they are too greedy. But if another Broker Gives you Cash Back at Closing the Realtors make the Consumer think that this Broker is not to be trusted or is somehow not as good at their job. I have had MAR, Realtor attorneys tell me it was Illegal to Give a Buyers Rebate and even call it mortgage fraud, saw memos that use scare tactics to Keep Realtor from giving Breaks (Rebates) to the Real Estate Consumer.

Yet when I have Proof of Mortgage Fraud, Flat Out Fraud NO body is listening.. not the FBI who claims they are, not the Department of Justice.. Montana Banking and Commerce claims they are but by the time they move on anything documents are shredded and many more consumers are hurt. No one is looking out for the Real Estate Consumers best interest. It is a Simple Fact.

How Does the Public have a chance against the Realtors?

This Flathead Beacon article, which I have linked to at the bottom of this page, says that Montana is Young in Political activity with Realtors, is this a Flat Out Lie?

Or do they mean they are just more aggressive about it now because their livelihood is at stake? NMAR has been political active for many years. And pushing their political weight around is not NEW. Also MAR ( the Montana Association of Realtors) has also been quite active for quite some time in pushing their political agenda on local government. Yet they claim it is new for them and well watch out because here we come and there is No Stopping us, we are Realtors.

Where are the Realtors, NMAR when consumers are hurt and taken advantage of by the Non-Disclosure, Flat Out Lies and Misleadings of their members?

The Realtors are Self Governed and they Do NOT care about their members who lie to consumers to the point that they lose everything.

NMAR does nothing to make sure that the data in the MLS is correct. Whatever SOLD price the Realtor or their secretary enters, well that’s just the way it is. This data creates an entire real estate market and has no measure in place for quality control.

NMAR does not want to hear about members that hurt consumers. They are not out for justice for the real estate consumer, NMAR is out to Keep their jobs in a day and age where there is not one sensible reason to use a Realtor in your Real Estate Transaction.

NMAR Lobby’s to keep you the Real Estate Consumer out of their Database. Why? IT was your money, your life, your equity and your choice to work with the Realtor that Created the Database but they lobby in political arenas to keep you out of what they deem as "their database". They Get Politically active and they win, you do not get access to your own data.

Yet, it only takes one week to be a Realtor and then after you join the Club and pay the dues, well then you can see the data, Does this Make any Sense?

I know of past NMAR government affairs committee members who have lied to the real estate consumer, who did NOT disclose know problems with home, they Flat Out Lie and deliberatly deceive the Real Estate Consumer to get ahead financially and these are the kind of folks that are on these committees.

You Can bet that if the Association Of Realtors Wants it, then it (what ever it may be) is VERY bad for the Real Estate Consumer and Very Good for the Realtors.

There is NOT one Reason you Need a Realtor In your Real Estate Transaction. The Realtors will NOT go down without a fight, they claim that using a Realtor in your real estate transaction will “Protect You”, in NO WAY does using a Realtor offer you more Protection.

Just because all the Overpaid Realtors stand up for something does not mean it is what should be. The public may not even show up to fight, they know that they can not win against the Real Estate Cartel known as the Association of Realtors.

I am sure that the members of NMAR will NOT appreciate this POST. However, being an Ex-Member of NMAR I am VERY familiar with how the game is played. And I Do NOT appreciate the Tactics, lack of Ethics enforcement and Severe lack of consumer protection that goes on at NMAR – the Local Association of Realtors.

This article says that “In response to what they perceive as an increasingly regulatory environment for development” YOU have Got to Be Kidding. Kalispell, in particular has let so many developmenst go in that the infrastructure is buckling.

I have heard that Emergency Response and other area agencies cannot keep up with the growth. The County Governing body has been pushed – force and bullied by the Realtor and the Builders so much that Foreclosures have gone way up, homes sit empty, commercial space is practically begging for tenants and the insatiable appetite of the Big Builders – Develops and the Real Estate Cartel, (REALTORS) are calling for more development – more building, truly when does the Reign of the Realtor END.

Where does this bullying STOP? Why is the Rights of the Real Estate Consumer NOT Top Priority? Why do the Rights for the Realtors and the Developers to Make More Money mean more then the rights of the real estate consumers or what is really best for the Flathead Valley as a Whole?

The Realtors create quite a stir every time they don’t get their way. Who stands up for you when things don't go your way?

So the Cry Baby Association of Realtors is mad and throwing a tantrum because there may actually be some regulations to slow down the over development that is going on in the Flathead Valley.

And well the Realtors are going to stomp their feet and throw their weight around until the local government agencies give in (either because they can’t stand the stress of it or cannot afford to fight the Realtors.

This article says The Realtors are “ramping up their political activity to unprecedented levels”. Be Scared Consumers, be very scared, the Realtors will get their way. The National Association of Realtors is a Multi-Billion Dollar Company and they are not going to let anything stand in their way to getting what they want.

You better just give up now. The Realtor own the local planning and development process when they can Huff and Puff – Throw Money and Stomp their feet and End up Eventually get their way. NO Private Person – No Government agency can Out Last – Out Stand – Out Fight – Out Spend the Association of Realtors … YOU Lose.

The Department of Justice gave up their fight with the Realtors, they “Settled” because they could not keep fighting and they could not get the Realtors to Admit to Anti-Trust Violations though the Realtors Really do Violate Anti-Trust Laws.

A Realtor Paid “government affairs director” – jotting down notes to take back to NMAR, how intriguing. A Realtor snitch running back to the Board of Realtors, who is Self Governed, and telling on the County for making decisions that are in the best interest of the County. Once the “Snitch” tells NMAR – they get everybody together and they attack the rights of the Residence of Flathead County, and most of the Time they Win.

If NMAR has hired a Full Time “government affairs director” – watch out, the Realtors know that they are not needed. The Realtors know that with the Internet it is easier – cheaper and offers more protection for Buyers and Sellers to work together directly.

So they are rallying, the are ramping up their fight. The actually fight is for Realtors to keep their jobs when really you Do Not Need a Realtor in your Real Estate Transaction and in Fact, using a Realtor in your Real Estate Transaction will cause more harm then good.

This article says that this NMAR paid for “government affairs director” “expanded his political influence when he was appointed to the Flathead County planning board.” There is No end in sight to the Affiliations, Corruptions, Bullying, and Forceful tactics of the Association of Realtors.

Why is this NMAR Paid Snitch now on the planning board, my guess, Flathead County could not take the pressure the Realtors were putting on them so they let this NMAR PAID for “government affairs director” on Your Flathead Valley Planning Board.

Inside Information, Conflict of Interest, Lack of Consumer Protection – Now the Realtors are in Charge of the Fate of Flathead Valley and what this means is that Realtors will get to keep their jobs for awhile longer in the Flathead Valley of Northwest Montana.

The Realtors join with the Builders and Sue the County, and now this guy is on the County Board, it reeks of a take over to me. Developers and Realtors banding together in numbers and money and taking over Your Government which is no longer of the People, by the People, for the People.

Your Government is Now for the Realtors, for the Developers and well - You, the Real Estate Consumers, those of you who elected and pay for these government agencies to do right by you… well YOU LOSE.

Political Motives – Corruption – Lawsuits – Getting Positions on Boards – Bullying – Conflicts of Interest - … I Guess it is Obvious Who is Running the Flathead Valley –it is the Association of Realtors.
